one of the hardest things to remember is:

or does to you.
they do not define you.

your willingness to help others.

your laughter.

the color flower you choose from the store.
defines you.
the song you dance to in the kitchen.
defines you.
the book you lose yourself in.
defines you.
all of these things make up who you are,
not what someone decides you are
in their own head.
the first thing people are welcomed by
when they meet you,
is the sparkle in your eyes.
never, ever let anyone dim the light
just to make theirs shine brighter.
